MT. RAINIER NATIONAL PARK, WA

Each one of us, upon first sight of this gorgeous monster, found our mouths agape. Again, pictures never capture the full experience. Mt. Rainier is elusive. This was a lucky shot, apparently. It was covered in clouds for most of the rest of our stay.

Being sworn in for the tenth time! Junior Ranger programs are crazy education and fun. Even when the boys complain, they love being sworn in when the ranger asks them questions about their studies. The swearing in procedure always makes them smile.

The next day! The clouds were thick and low. There's Mt. Rainier.
